MABIE'S MEATBALLS 
1 lb. hamburger
3 oz. cream cheese
1/8 c. dry onion soup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 slices bread
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk (for gravy)

Combine all ingredients (except milk). Shape into 20 meatballs. Brown lightly. Cover and cook 20-25 minutes. Remove meatballs. Blend 1-2 tablespoons flour into the meat juice. Add the 1 cup of milk to make a gravy. Add meat and heat. Serve with noodles, rice, or potatoes. Serves 4-5.
