PEANUT BUTTER POUND CAKE | |
1 c. butter, softened 2 c. packed light brown sugar 1 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter 6 lg. eggs 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and lightly flour bundt or tube pan. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars with electric mixer; beat in peanut butter; add eggs two at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour with baking powder and baking soda. Beat in flour mixture 1/3 at a time, alternating with sour cream; stir in vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in middle of oven 70 to 80 minutes or until a pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack 15 minutes. |
