JO'S OLD FASHIONED CHICKEN &
NOODLES
 
3 c. chicken
12 oz. Reames frozen egg noodles
3 (10 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
Plus 3 cans of water
1/4 c. chopped onions
2 c. chopped celery
2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp. flour combined with 1 c. cold water

1. Combine chicken broth, water, onions, celery, carrots and parsley in large saucepan.

2. Bring to boil. Add frozen noodles and diced chicken meat.

3. Simmer 30 minutes or until noodles are to be desired tenderness to thicken broth.

4. If necessary, combine flour and water to form a smooth mixture and stir in boiling water. Add salt and pepper to taste; simmer 5 minutes.
