STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE SUPREME | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 1 (10 oz.) + 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries 1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding & pie filling 1 (20 oz.) angel food cake 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip Prepare pudding according to package directions. Prepare Jello according to package directions using the strawberries instead of cold water to cool down. Let both chill, but do not let them get completely firm. Place a layer of angel food cake in the bottom of a glass bowl (fairly deep, a trifle or small punch bowl will work well). Place a layer of strawberry Jello, pudding and Cool Whip on the cake. Continue to layer until bowl is full. Chill and serve. You may want to let mixture chill before putting on the top layer of Cool Whip. This does tend to settle after chilling. Great dish to make ahead for meetings. |
