BEEF AND BEAN SUPPER 
1 lb. (2 c.) dried pinto beans
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Salt and pepper

Wash beans and place in a large vessel, cover with water, and cook for 1 hour. Add more water as needed. Saute onions and ground beef until meat is brown. Drain. Stir ground beef mixture and remaining ingredients into beans. Cover and cook over low heat about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
