BLACK MOONS (NOT FOR THE CALORIE
CONSCIOUS)
 
CAKES:

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. milk
1 c. unsweetened cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

FILLING:

1 c. shortening
2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 c. marshmallow fluff
1 tsp. vanilla

In mixer cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, milk, vanilla. Sift dry ingredients in to mix together. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven 425 degrees for 7 minutes. Watch carefully. Remove and cool completely before filling. Match halves for size.

Filling: Cream shortening and powdered sugar, add marshmallows creme and vanilla mix until smooth. Frost one side of cake. Top with another half. Store in airtight container.
