MARYLAND CRAB CAKES 
1 lb. fresh crabmeat (backfin)
1/2 - 3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. prepared mustard
3/4 tsp. pepper
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. parsley flakes

Mix all together. Make into cakes and fry until golden brown. Heat Crisco oil and frying pan to 375 degrees. Serve with tartar sauce.
