WINE JELLY 
5 (6 oz.) glasses, sterilized
1 stick paraffin

Sterilize glass by covering in water and boil 10 minutes; simmer.

RED WINE JELLY:

2 c. red wine
3 c. sugar
1/2 bottle pectin
Red & green candied cherries

Mix wine and sugar over heat rapidly to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat. Quickly stir in liquid pectin. Pour into sterilized glasses. Seal immediately with paraffin. For white wine, color with green food coloring if desired.
