MEXICAN STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 lg. green peppers
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. (about) chili powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. Post Grape-Nuts brand cereal
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Cut top from peppers; remove seeds.

Brown meat in skillet; stir in chili powder, garlic salt and salt. Add 1/2 cup of the tomatoes and the cereal.

Fill each pepper with 1/2 cup meat mixture. Place in greased shallow baking dish. Pour on remaining tomatoes; top with cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

Makes 4 servings. Serve with a tossed green salad.
