LACE ALMOND COOKIES 
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
7 tbsp. butter
1 c. peeled, coarsely chopped almonds

Knead all ingredients into a firm ball. Shape into marble sized balls and arrange far apart on buttered cookie sheet. Flatten with fork or knife dipped in cold water. Bake in 375 degree oven until golden. The dough should melt and become lacy, very thin and crisp. Cook on cookie sheet and remove with spatula. Cookies should be 3 inches in diameter.
