CHICKEN 'N BISCUIT CASSEROLE | |
1 can 10 biscuits 2 c. diced chicken 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 onion, chopped 1/2 c. milk 1 (10 oz.) frozen English peas 1 1/2 c. grated American cheese Salt and pepper to taste Place biscuits in buttered dish. Cover with chicken. Combine soups, flour, onion and milk. Cook until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add 1 cup cheese. Blend until melted. Stir in peas and seasonings. Pour over chicken and biscuit layer. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top. Bake 5 more minutes. Serves 6. |
