CHUNKY LAMB STEW 
3 lbs. lamb cubes
1 clove minced garlic
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped onions
2 c. hot water
1/2 c. 1 inch cubed carrots
1/2 c. cubed potatoes
1/4 c. chopped onions
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. cold water

Put lamb in medium saucepan on medium heat. Season with garlic, salt and pepper. Add onions and cook until meat is browned. Pour 2 cups of hot water into saucepan and continue to cook for 20 minutes.

In another saucepan cook carrots, potatoes and onions in enough water to cover them. Cook until tender. Add vegetables to the meat. Thicken the stew with a mixture of 2 tbsp. of flour and 1/4 cup cold water. Simmer stew until ready to be served. Yield: 10 portions.
