TAILGATE SALAD 
1 head lettuce, shredded
1 c. green pepper, diced
1 c. diced onion
1 c. diced celery
1 (17 oz.) can LeSeur garden peas, drained
1 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. bacon, cooked and broken into bits

Place in layers in this order in 12 x 7 x 2 inch dish. Refrigerate overnight.
