PASTA BEAN SOUP 
2 lbs. Navy beans (soaked)
3 lbs. ham
1 lg. onion
2 tbsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. pepper
1 tbsp. salt
2 c. macaroni
1 stick butter
1/8 c. oregano
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
4 c. water
1 (32 oz.) can tomato juice

Cook soaked beans in water and tomato juice. Chop ham in small chunks and fry in butter until slightly brown. Add seasonings and ham to beans. Cook until beans are done. Add macaroni and tomatoes, chopped. Cook until macaroni is done. Thin with water.
