PECAN PIE BARS 
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Set aside 2/3 cup cake mix. Combine remaining cake mix, butter and one egg in mixing bowl; mix with fork. Press into greased 13"x9"x2" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly golden brown. Combine reserved cake mix, 3 eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes. Pour over partially baked crust and sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
