BIG NANY'S ANGEL BISCUITS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
5 c. flour

Dissolve 1 package dry yeast in 2 tablespoons lukewarm water. Stir well. Add that to 2 cups lukewarm buttermilk. Sift together 5 cups of flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Cut in shortening to flour mixture. Mix well. Turn out on floured board, add a little more flour if needed, to handle well. Let dough rest 5-8 minutes.

Place dough into large greased bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out and cut into biscuits. Dip in melted butter and let rise until double. Bake at 400 degrees until done.
