1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1 c. quick cooking or old fashioned oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. Cheerios cereal
1 c. raisins

Heat oven to 375°F. Beat sugar and butter in large bowl on medium speed until blended. Beat in oil, vanilla and eggs. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in cereal and raisins. Drop dough by slightly rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
