2 lb. hamburger 1 med. onion 1 pt. homemade chili sauce 1 pt. cottage cheese 1 lg. pkg. lasagna noodles 2 eggs 1 qt. homemade chili sauce 2 to 3 c. shredded cheese (Mozzarella, cheddar or mix) Fry hamburger and onion, salt. Mix cottage cheese and eggs in small bowl. Set aside. Grate cheese. Mix pint of sauce with fried hamburger. Place 1/3 mix in 9 x 13 pan. Lay dry noodles over mix until covered. Add quart sauce until cover noodles. Place cottage cheese mix on noodles. Sprinkle grated cheese. Put another layer of dried noodles. Layer of meat sauce sprinkled with grated cheese. Layer of noodles. Remaining meat sauce. Pour chili sauce over mix. Should cover. Sprinkle remaining grated cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour. Let sit 10 minutes before eating. |
