DOUBLE CHOCOLATE JUMBO CRISPS 
1 1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. water
3 c. rolled oats
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream butter and vanilla. Add sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy. Add egg and beat vigorously. Blend flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Add alternately with water to creamed mixture, beating after each addition. Add oats gradually. Add chocolate chips, mixing until well blended.

Drop by spoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Remove to cooling rack. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
