LONDON BROIL | |
Purchase a 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of flank steak. Combine 2-3 tablespoons olive oil, 2 minced cloves of garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Coat flank steak with mixture on both sides. Cook on preheated oven broiler 3 inches from flake to desired doneness, about 5 minutes on each side for medium. Or broil over charcoal to desired doneness. Carve in very thin slices diagonally across grain. Serves 5-6. |
