MICROWAVE CROUTONS 
4 tbsp. butter
4 c. fresh bread cubes
Dried herbs (opt.)
Garlic salt (opt.)

Place butter in a 7"x11" baking dish. Microwave, uncovered on HIGH for 1 minute. Stir in about 4 cups fresh bread cubes and dried herbs and garlic, if desired. Microwave, uncovered on HIGH for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring at minute intervals. Let the croutons stand for 5 minutes to harden completely. Store in air tight container in refrigerator for salads, etc.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
