PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs

Beat until light. 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt

Sift together and add to the above.

Add juice and fruit to above. Put in 9 x 12 or 13 x 15 inch pan.

Add over top: 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. evaporated milk

Bring to boil. Pour over cake as it comes from oven both hot. Prick the cake with a fork.
