CHEESE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 sticks butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour (sift first)
Vanilla pudding mix (optional)
A little salt
1 tbsp. vanilla flavor or 1 tsp. almond flavor

Cream sugar and butter. Add softened cream cheese and blend. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flavoring before flour and salt. Add flour, mixed with pudding mix, one cup at a time. Pour in a tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours; don't open oven door.
