MEXICALI SOUP 
1 beef soup bone
1 lb. soup beef cubes
1/2 tsp. peppercorns
1 bay leaf
1 med. onion, sliced
2 qts. water
1 lg. carrot, sliced
1 c. green beans
1 c. corn
1 c. diced potato
2 1/3 c. tomatoes
1/2 clove garlic, cut fine
Pepper
Salt

Put 's in pot with 1 tablespoon salt. Boil 1 hour. Add vegetables and simmer 1 more hour. 2 1/2 quarts.
