OREO COOKIE DESSERT 
1 (20 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick butter
2 (3 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
3 1/2 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Crush cookies (including cream) and put in large bowl. (You may reserve a small amount of crumbs to sprinkle on top.) In large bowl, mix cookies with melted butter. Pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine milk, pudding and softened cream cheese and mix about 2 minutes with mixer. Pour over cookie mixture. Spread Cool Whip over pudding mixture. Sprinkle the top with reserved cookies or colored sprinkles. Chill at least 6 hours (or overnight if possible).
