POTATO-EGG CASSEROLE | |
6 med. potatoes, sliced and cooked 3 boiled eggs, sliced Basic white sauce Salt Pepper Cheese Layer in baking dish potatoes, eggs and cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer white sauce. Repeat layers ending with potatoes and white sauce. Bake 350 degrees 45 minutes or until bubbling and brown. Let stand for 5 minutes. BASIC WHITE SAUCE: 1/2 stick butter, melted Stir in: Add: Stir continuously over medium heat until desired thickness. Add salt and pepper to taste. If too thick, may thin with additional milk. Very good with roast beef. |
