PICKLED PEACHES 
20-24 sm. peaches
4 c. sugar
2 c. apple cider vinegar
4 pieces stick cinnamon
1 tbsp. whole cloves

Choose ripe, but firm peaches. Peel peaches not spoiling shape of fruit. Make a syrup of sugar, vinegar and spices tied loosely in a bag. Boil 5 minutes. Drop peaches into syrup and simmer for about 15 minutes or until tender. Pack into clean hot jars. Strain syrup and pour over peaches in jars to within 1/2 inch of top. Seal according to manufacturer's directions. Makes 4 pints.
