STRAWBERRY GRANITE 
2 1/2 c. hulled strawberries
4 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. water

In blender puree strawberries and other ingredients until smooth. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze.

When cubes have frozen, remove from trays and place in blender again. Process until cubes are completely crushed and smooth. Spoon into dishes to serve or into individual plastic cups and freeze to use later.

Frozen strawberries may be used, but if they are frozen in syrup, omit the sugar in this recipe.
