HOMESPUN MEAT PIE | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 egg 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs Dash of pepper 3 tbsp. milk 1 tbsp. chopped parsley, for potatoes 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained 1/3 c. chopped onions 1 tsp. salt 2 c. cubed, cooked potatoes 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed Combine meat, mushrooms, egg, onion, bread crumbs, and seasoning and mix lightly. Press meat mixture onto bottom and sides of pie plate; bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Mash potatoes with milk; stir in cheese, parsley, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Remove meat mixture from oven; reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Drain, fill with potato mixture. Continue baking for 10 minutes. |
