OVEN-BARBECUED RIBS 
3-4 lbs. country style pork ribs
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 lg. onion, sliced

BASTING SAUCE:

1 c. ketchup
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 c. water

Salt ribs; place in shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. Roast at 450 degrees about 30 minutes. Drain excess fat from pan. Top each piece of ribs with unpeeled lemon and a slice of onion.

Make Basting Sauce: Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Pour over ribs. Lower temperature to 350 degrees. Occasionally baste ribs with sauce. Bake until well done, about 1 1/2 hours. Add water, if needed. Makes 4 servings.
