LEMON REFRIGERATOR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2-3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 egg
4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. lemon peel
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts

Cream together butter and sugars. Add lemon juice and egg and beat well. Sift flour and soda together and add to creamed mixture. Add lemon peel and nuts and mix until well blended.

Shape into 4 rolls, 2 inches in diameter. Wrap each roll in waxed paper. Chill in refrigerator until firm. Cut chilled rolls into 1/8 inch slices and bake on cookie sheet in 400 degree oven about 9 minutes or until lightly browned.
