PAN LASAGNA 
2 lbs. hamburger
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 pkg. spaghetti mix
1 tsp. oregano, or to taste
1 (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 1/2 pkg. cut lasagna noodles
Salt and pepper
1 lb. cottage cheese
1/2 to 1 lb. cheddar or Jack cheese, grated

Brown hamburger and onion. Add spaghetti mix, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix in tomato sauce. (I blend the tomatoes before adding them.) Simmer for an hour or 2.

Cook noodles until they are still real firm. Add noodles and cottage cheese to meat mixture and part of grated cheese. Mix well; turn into large baking pan. Top with remaining cheese and bake at 350 degrees until hot.
