CHOCOLATE WAFFLE COOKIES 
2 squares unsweetened chocolate (or 1/4 to 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa)
1/2 c. butter
2 beaten eggs
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter together. (If using cocoa, melt butter alone, add cocoa with flour.) Mix in beaten eggs and sugar. Stir in flour and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonsful on medium hot waffle iron. Do this quickly and do not crowd cookies. Bake approximately 50 to 60 seconds. Remove with fork. Cool and frost, if desired.
