CHOCOLATE CRACKLE COOKIES 
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, broken into pieces
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
Sugar

Heat chocolate, butter until melted in medium saucepan over low flame - stir frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, eggs; mix in combine flour, baking powder, salt. Refrigerate dough until firm - 2 hours. Heat oven to 300 degrees.

Roll cookie dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Flatten cookies into 1/4 inch thick circles using the bottom of a glass. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake about 15 minutes. makes 2 1/2 dozen.
