POPPY SEED BREAD 
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. can Carnation evaporated milk
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
1 (2 oz.) box poppy seeds

In a large bowl, mix well, sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, salt together. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the sugar mixture and beat. Add nuts and poppy seeds. Mix well. Pour into 2 well-greased bread pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
