HIT THE SPOT VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 box frozen green beans or 3/4 lb. fresh
1 green pepper, sliced or chopped (optional)
1/2 lg. or 1 sm. cauliflower cut in flowerettes or 1 pkg. frozen
6 stalks celery, sliced
1/4 c. chopped parsley or celery leaves
2-4 lg. onions, sliced or chopped
1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
16 oz. V-8 juice
4 pkg. Steero chicken broth env. or G. Washington golden broth
2 tbsp. thyme
1 pkg. frozen baby okra or frozen peas (optional)

Dissolve broth packages in 4 cups boiling water. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. To thin soup can add water or more juice. (Baby lima beans can be added if desired.)
