DATE NUT CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
4 eggs
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. milk
1 can SOLO Date filling
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time, beating one minute after each egg addition.

Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, starting with flour/ending with flour. Fold in SOLO date filling and chopped nuts.

Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in a moderate oven (350 degrees) or until tested done. Let stand for about 5 minutes before removing from pan. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
