PEAR PECAN SALAD 
1 (#2 1/2) can pears
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime Jello
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. Dream Whip

Drain juice from pears and reserve 1 cup of liquid. Bring juice to boil. Remove from heat and add gelatin. Chill until partially set. Place pears and cream cheese in blender container and blend until creamy. Stir in gelatin mixture. Add pecans and Dream Whip or Cool Whip (which I use). Pour into mold and chill. (I prefer lime Jello).
