CINNAMON NUT COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. vanilla

Let butter stand at room temperature to soften. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and sour cream. Sift together flour, soda, salt and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and blend well.

FILLING:

Mix together: 2 tbsp. cinnamon 1 c. chopped nuts

Put 1/3 of batter in bottom of greased tube pan, spread about a third of the filling. Alternate batter and filling to make 3 layers.

Sprinkle top with some of the filling. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
