PINEAPPLE FRUITED CHICKEN 
1 chicken, cut up
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. flour
1 can sliced pineapple, reserve juice
1 sm. jar red maraschino cherries
1/2 c. raisins (opt.)
1 c. pineapple juice

In a large pan, brown chicken. Place chicken on plate, drain fat from pan. In pan add pineapple, cherries and raisins; simmer 5 minutes on low heat. Remove pineapple, etc. and set aside in small bowl. Place chicken back in same pan add pineapple juice simmer 1 hour making sure water does not drain out (if so, add more water). Add the pineapple mixture the last 10 minutes of cooking chicken.
