1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg, separated
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can vanilla frosting
M & M peanut candy for topping
Ground nuts

Blend butter and sugar; stir in egg yolk and vanilla. Mix well; sift salt and flour and add to egg mixture. Chill for 1 hour.

Roll into balls and dip into beaten egg white; roll in nuts. Makes deep imprint with thumb in center of balls; bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and fill holes with frosting. Garnish with M & M candy in center.
