STREUSEL PECAN PIE SQUARES 
CRUST:

3 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. firm packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. butter, chilled

FILLING:

3/4 c. firm packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. corn syrup or maple syrup
1 c. milk
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Heat oven; combine crust ingredients and blend until creamy. Reserve 2 cups crumbs for filling and topping. Press remaining crumbs in bottom of ungreased 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan and to 3/4 of the way up the sides. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

In large bowl combine 1/4 cup of crumbs and all filling ingredients EXCEPT pecans, mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour over prebaked crust. Bake 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 350 degrees. Sprinkle remaining reserved crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until filling is set and crumbs are a golden brown. Serves 15.
