PHILADELPHIA SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 c. cubed potatoes
1/2 stick butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. onions or onion flakes
1 c. grated cheese
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 c. milk
Salt & pepper to taste

Make white sauce by melting the butter and stirring in the flour, onions and milk. Stir constantly until it becomes a medium thick sauce. Let cool slightly. Add the mayonnaise and grated cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook the potatoes on top of stove about 5 minutes. Salt to taste.

Drain and put layers of potatoes, sauce and top with grated cheese. Repeat. Cook in oven for about 1 hour. Preheat oven about 350 degrees.
