CLASSIC MACARONI SALAD 
1 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
1 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. bell pepper, green
1/2 c. red bell pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion

In large bowl, mix together first 6 ingredients until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and toss to coat well. Cover; chill. Makes 5 cups.

Substituted balsamic vinegar and only used 1/2 cup of mayo. Added sliced cherry tomatoes and used orange and yellow sweet peppers instead of green bell. Did use red onion. Put a little granulated garlic and a dash of season-all in it. Cut back the sugar. . all in all - pretty non-classic once I doctored it but very, very tasty
