ALMOND WREATHS 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 whole eggs
3 egg yolks
5 c. sifted flour
3 egg whites, beaten
1 c. chopped almonds
1/2 c. granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and stir in powdered sugar until light and creamy. Add 3 egg yolks and 2 whole eggs. Stir in flour until a smooth dough. Break dough in small evenly sized pieces and roll pieces into fingers 2 inches long and a little less than 1/2 inch thick.

Join the ends together to form a little ring. Dip one side of the rings into 3 egg whites, beaten. Dip egg-white coated side of wreaths into a mixture of almonds and granulated sugar. Bake on baking sheet until light brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
