300 DOLLAR CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 c. water
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour and sugar together; stir well and set aside. Place butter, cocoa, water and oil together in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture, mixing well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla; mix completely. The batter will be thin. Pour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 375°F for approximately 40 minutes.

Frosting:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Place butter, milk and cocoa in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and pour over powdered sugar; mix well. Add vanilla. Pour over cake while it is still hot.
