1 2/3 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg 1/3 c. shortening or butter 3/4 c. milk 1 egg Apricot jam Chopped nuts In mixing bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon or nutmeg. Cut in shortening until particles are fine. Add milk and egg; mix just until thoroughly blended. |
