SPANISH STEAKS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg
1 c. cracker crumbs
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix beef, egg, cracker crumbs, onion, milk, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 large patties; flatten out. Cook in a slightly greased skillet at 375 degrees. Cook until brown on both sides. Combine the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, water, sugar, chili powder and salt; pour over beef patties. Reduce heat to 250 degrees; simmer until sauce has thickened and meat is tender.
