SPANISH STEAK 
2 lb. round or chuck steak, 1 inch thick
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. flour
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp. sugar
1 green pepper, sliced
1/4 c. shortening
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1/4 c. sliced stuffed olives
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. chili powder

Cut steak into 6 pieces. Combine salt, pepper and flour. Coat meat with seasoned flour. Saute onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons shortening in skillet 5 minutes. Remove from skillet; add remaining shortening. Brown meat on both sides; drain off fat. Top with onion, green pepper and remaining ingredients. Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours until tender. Serves 6.
