SPANISH STEAK 
1 flank steak
3 tbsp. fat
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 green pepper
2 c. tomatoes, stewed or canned
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 onions
1 bay leaf

Have steak scored on both sides. Dredge heavily with flour and brown well on both sides in hot fat. Add salt and pepper. Cover with sliced onions and sliced green pepper. Add bay leaf, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Cover closely and cook over low heat until tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Cut in strips for serving.
